Angel Olsen (born in St. Louis Missouri) is an American musician, who lives in Asheville North Carolina. Olsen's six studio albums include: Big Time, Half Way Home, Burn Your Fire For No Witness, My Woman and My Woman. Mothers are naturally drawn to in raising their kids. Olsen moved from Missouri to Chicago in 2006 eventually working alongside California singer-songwriter Emmett Kelly as part of his group the Cairo Gang. Her previous album All Mirrors from 2019 featured dark almost gothic synth-rock and deeply affecting excursions to the orchestral genre of pop. Big Time marks the debut album in which Olsen sings about the love of her life. This is her first foray into traditional music, like traditional country. On some level, it's normal.
